Here, his extensive experience in cloud technology and construction laid the foundation for his passion for Smart Home technologies.
Over the course of several decades, Roddy dedicated himself to testing and perfecting Smart Home solutions. In 2002, he relocated to San Francisco to pursue a cloud-related endeavor and simultaneously reinvigorated his construction company, Heidi’s House. Combining his passion for construction and Smart Home technologies, he creates meticulously curated Smart Home solutions.

Roddy is a true industry veteran with over 40 years of plumbing and general contracting experience. After the dot-com era, Roddy transitioned into leading pre and post-technical sales and service delivery for digital transformation initiatives. His expertise lies in technology strategy and transformation, encompassing IoT and OT, cybersecurity, operations and security orchestration, infrastructure, observability, application platforming, and managed services. Roddy’s extensive cloud technology and construction knowledge naturally sparked his passion for smart home technologies. He dedicated decades to testing and perfecting Smart Home solutions, culminating in creating Heidi’s House Smart Home Design and Installation service, offering a meticulously curated Smart Home solution that caters to your unique needs and preferences.
